ST. LOUIS – A Missouri family is urgently asking the public for assistance with finding their missing family member, Echo Michelle Lloyd, who disappeared on May 14, 2020 . She has not been seen or heard from in more than four years.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol poster, Lloyd was last seen at 30617 Stag Drive, Edwards, Missouri, on May 14, 2020. However, a spokesperson for Echo’s family stated that she was last sighted in Warsaw, Missouri.

“Please ensure it’s noted that she was last seen at Walmart & Dollar General in Warsaw, Missouri, not Climax Springs. Our family spoke with the cashier who saw her on 5/10/2020,” the spokesperson said.

The most recent update in the case came on March 27, 2024, when Benton County Sheriff Erick Knox made a public statement, affirming that Echo’s case has never left the Sheriff’s Office’s thoughts.

“For those unfamiliar with the case, on May 15, 2020, at 11:37 am, a report was received regarding a potential missing person,” Knox explained in a press release. “A deputy was dispatched to Stag Drive in Edwards, Missouri, where they met Echo Lloyd’s daughter, who reported not having seen her mother in two weeks.”

Despite extensive searches across water bodies, land, and caves, and with assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC), who took over the case shortly after it was reported to the Sheriff’s Office, there remains no concrete evidence regarding Echo’s whereabouts.

“The DDCC continues to actively investigate all tips and leads received. Three weeks ago, the Camden County Sheriff’s Office provided a lead that was pursued by DDCC involving K9 units and a forensic team, but unfortunately, no significant breakthrough was made in Echo’s case,” Sheriff Knox disclosed. “All leads, regardless of how small or vague, are diligently followed up by the DDCC.”

The family has established a Facebook page dedicated to finding Echo, titled ‘ Bring Echo Home ’.

“I haven’t done updates in a while – it’s been extremely tough the more time that goes by. [I am] trying to muster up the emotional strength to get back on there and post more often,” the spokesperson said.

Echo Lloyd, aged 48, is described as having brown hair and brown eyes, standing at five feet, four inches tall, and weighing between 100 and 110 pounds.

She has a tattoo on her forearm with the phrase “Let it Be” accompanied by birds, and on her wrist, she has the names of her four children: Kelsey, Kace, Kaitlyn, and Kylie, tattooed on her arm.
