Annual artisan fair returning to Effingham

EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WCIA) — The 17th annual Effingham Artisan fair is making its return next weekend.

The event will showcase handcrafted pieces from more than 30 artists including pottery, jewelry, metal works, paintings, wood works, crochet, soaps, photography, leather, edible art, wearables and more.

Other features include live music, food trucks, live art demonstrations and a free Kids Korner hosted by local community organizations, which will provide activities, arts & crafts, games and more.

The free two-day event will take place on Friday, July 19 from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, July 20 from 9-4 p.m. at Tuscan Hills Winery.

Here is a schedule of some of the events:

Friday

• Live music from Jake & Mikayla from 5-7 p.m.
• Wreckless Whiskey Band from 7-10 p.m.

Saturday

• Yoga on the big stage at 9 a.m.
• Kid Korner begins at 9 a.m., including face painting from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Live music from the Charleston Jazz Band at 10 a.m.
• Live music from e Ain’t Misbehavin’ from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Live music from FACE orchestra at 1:30 p.m.
• Live music from Three Chicks & A Stage at 3 p.m.
