Egg Harbor Township police arrested three people days after they were first spotted.

Police were called to the Walmart at about 2:35 p.m. Saturday for a vehicle speeding around the parking lot in front of Petco, Capt. Michael Finnerty said.

The woman said the car could have hit her and her son.

Further investigation found the vehicle was reported stolen out of Pleasantville, according to the report.

The same vehicle was spotted at about 3:15 a.m. Monday, driving erratically on English Creek Avenue, Finnerty said.

Officer Joe Ricevuto confirmed the vehicle was reported stolen and then conducted a high-risk stop with help from responding patrol units, according to the report.

Devon Blackwell, 19, of Absecon, was driving and cited for several motor vehicle violations, including not following the rules of those with a provisional license, court records show.

He also was cited for operation of a motor vehicle while in possession of a narcotic after police found unregulated cannabis.

He and passengers Elijah Rollins and Naimah Santiago were charged with receiving stolen property.

Rollins, 18, of Egg Harbor Township, and Santiago, 21, of Galloway Township, were charged on summonses and released.

Blackwell was charged on a warrant and is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing set for Wednesday.
