Rock n Roll Parade a Crowd Pleaser
Bowman’s Main Street was lined with families eagerly anticipating the Fair Parade on July 14. This year’s parade was led by Fire Departments from Bowman, Scranton, and Rhame; Bowman Ambulance; Bowman County Sherriff; Bowman City Police; and the American Legion clubs. The Rock n Roll theme saw fun and creative floats. In addition to all of the fire departments, police, ambulance, and car club there were 19 businesses that participated with their very own Rock n Roll Float.

Brookings Regional Humane Society Takes in Over 50 Animals, Intake Temporarily Closed
{KXLG – Brookings, SD} The Brookings Regional Humane Society (BRHS) is facing a temporary closure of its animal intake services due to a large influx of animals. In coordination with Brookings Community Service Officers, undertook an urgent animal intake operation involving over 55 cats, kittens, and four dogs from a single household. The homeowner had unfortunately passed away, leaving the animals in need of shelter and care.
