One person killed in Russell County storm
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A 64-year-old man was killed in a Russell County storm that produced strong winds and heavy rain. The storm moved into Russell County at around 11:30 Wednesday night. Multiple 911 calls into Russell County dispatch reported multiple campers at Lake Wilson being blown over. Three people were hospitalized and another person, 64-year-old Christopher Montoya of Hollyrood, was found dead in the Hell Creek area of the park.
