Next weekend, the Centennial Museum at the University of Texas at El Paso will host a special Dino Day to celebrate dinosaurs.

El Pasoans are invited to Oasis Waterpark, 13501 Jason Crandall Drive, for an after-hours Neon Pop Party from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, July 5. Enjoy live music, glow-in-the-dark props and more neon fun. Tickets are $18 and available online .

Viva! El Paso brings culture, dance to McKelligon Canyon
Viva! El Paso is in its 46th season and will perform every Friday and Saturday through Saturday, Aug. 3, at McKelligon Canyon at 8 p.m. Tickets are $16 and $11 for kids, plus fees, and are available at Ticketmaster.com .
Craft & Social 10th anniversary party
Craft & Social, 305 E. Franklin Ave., will celebrate its 10th anniversary Saturday, July 6, with a collaboration that brings a special beer. Dead Perezidents Brewing Co. has created a hazy IPA brewed with New Zealand hops, available while supplies last. The party will have a lineup of 10 DJs.
Dino Day at Centennial Museum
The Centennial Museum at UTEP will have a Dinosaur Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 13. Kids can touch a dinosaur bone, see a surprise dinosaur artifact, participate in craft activities, and see a special presentation by special guest Eric Kappus, who discovered the dinosaur tracks off Mount Cristo Rey. Light refreshments will be provided.
Pottery exhibit opens at Branigan
The Branigan Cultural Center will open a new exhibit, Pottery and Weaving: A Living Tradition," by artist Leon Nastacio, Saturday, July 13, at 501 N. Main St. in Las Cruces. The opening reception will be from 10 a.m. to noon, and Nastacio will share his Zuni traditions. The exhibit will be up through Aug. 24.

El Paso History Museum has new exhibit
The El Paso Museum of History has a new exhibit, Neighborhoods & Shared Memories: Rio Grande to Franklin Heights, at 510 N. Santa Fe St. The exhibit will be up through May 2025.
