Storm chances Monday night; double digits most of week — Your 9-Day Forecast

El Paso, Texas ( KTSM ) — Hello, El Paso. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. There is no heat advisory for us so far, but as always keep cool and hydrated this summer season.

Many of you have messaged me saying you miss the rain. Well, good news is we have another pattern of moisture starting Monday night through Sunday.

We are forecasting to start off Monday with sunny skies and light breezes. Our high is expected to warm up to 101 degrees, a lot warmer compared to Sunday’s high. Not much action is expected during the day. The evening is when we may see a change.

Monday night, we are forecasting 20% chance of isolated storms in the evening before midnight. Our overnight low sits at 77 degrees. Humidity will very much be a factor at night.

Storm chances are in place once again for Tuesday evening.

During the day on Tuesday, we are predicted to reach a high of 103 degrees. If you notice, it is the hottest day out of our nine-day forecast. Stay hydrated and cool.

If you work outdoors, it’s crucial to take breaks often and wear light clothing.

Tuesday’s overnight low is 78 degrees. We have a 30% chance of storms before midnight, but rain chances are slight. Some areas in El Paso will be lucky enough to see those storms.

A 30% chance of storms is predicted for Wednesday, and this time those chances are in the afternoon. Wednesday’s forecasted high is expected to reach 101 degrees. This would be our third day on the triple-digit streak.

In the evening, we are rather warm with an overnight low of 79 degrees. I believe we can prepare for another night of humidity.

Thursday, we are forecasting 40% chance of afternoon storms with a high of 97 degrees. Hello double digits!

Those storms chance will then have the chance of making way into the evening. Overnight low is predicted to cool off to 77 degrees.

Friday is expected to reach 98 degrees, our second day with double digits, paired with 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

The moisture pattern continues for Saturday. We are forecasting isolated storms for the day with our high warming up to 96 degrees. Evening temperature sit at 74 degrees.

We are forecasting 94 degrees for next Sunday. Once again, we are predicting to see 25% chance of scattered storms throughout the day. The overnight low is forecast to cool off to 73 degrees.

The remainder of the week we will stick with double digits.
