EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Former UTEP offensive lineman, Andrew Meyer, was selected to the Michigan Panthers in the United Football League’s 10-round draft on Wednesday.

Meyer played all four years of his collegiate career in the borderland, playing in 54 total competitions starting in 31.

The center will be joined by FCS champion Isaiah Stalbird out of North Dakota State, as well as other athletes out of big name programs such as Florida State and Mississippi.

The UFL was created in 2024, following the merger between XFL and USFL.
