FC Juárez ready for friendly against Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — FC Juárez is off to less than ideal start to its 2024-25 Liga MX Apertura, as the Bravos are 0-3-1 after four league matches.

FC Juárez has no league matches lined up this week, but the club does have a friendly match to play against one of the Bundesliga’s best: Eintracht Frankfurt.

Eintracht Frankfurt arrived in El Paso, Texas on Wednesday night. The squad was welcomed by a mariachi band once it arrived at its hotel.

Thursday night’s friendly will mark Eintracht Frankfurt’s second competition of its preseason. Last Saturday, Eintracht Frankfurt beat Heusenstamm, 12-0, in Hesse, Germany.

FC Juárez is expected to present a tougher challenge to Frankfurt in its friendly match on Thursday. The friendly against FC Juárez will be the first of two competitions in Frankfurt’s Americas Tour. Frankfurt is set to play USL Championship side Louisville City in Louisville, Kentucky next Tuesday.

Kickoff for the friendly match between FC Juárez and Frankfurt is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. MT at Estadio Olimpico Benito Juarez.
