ECHO Housing debuts new Promise Home
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A house on Read Street in Evansville known as Promise Home is what officials with ECHO say is a long term solution that will end homelessness for about 27 people. Among other amenities, the new home will have laundry facilities, a community space and on-site management.

Indiana DNR Accepting Applications for Shooting Range Grants
The DNR Shooting Range Grant Program is accepting applications for the development of rifle, handgun, shotgun firing, and archery opportunities for public use. While growing up in southern Indiana, I always looked forward to trips to the shooting range. I started out at just seven years old with a simple single shot .22 rifle, before making my way up to a 12-gauge shotgun around the age of 11. Eventually, I was given the opportunity to fire a few different handguns. The hobby has stuck with me through the years, and I've since become fascinated with old military surplus rifles. I still make regular trips to the shooting range today.
