We’re expected to have a high risk of rip currents on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday thanks to Hurricane Beryl, which weakened to a tropical storm Friday afternoon. And even with it far away from us, it’s still expected to impact our waters.

The family of the woman who was savagely attacked in Dickson, Tennessee, is on the hunt for the heroic pair from Alabama who rescued her from a burning home on Monday. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the 1200 block of North Charlotte Street in Dickson after receiving reports of a house fire. While recovering from her injuries in a hospital bed, Tessa recounted the events of Monday night to her mother, Tina Trotter.

East Milton set to get its first Wawa, the second in Santa Rosa County
The first Wawa store has been proposed for East Milton in Santa Rosa County. The latest Wawa convenience store was proposed for development at 7212 U.S. Highway 90 on the northeast corner of U.S. 90 and Dale Street intersection.
