OGDEN, Utah, July 31, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Ogden City Police Chief Eric Young is retiring, ending his tenure presiding over a 60% reduction in serious crime. Young spent all 32 years of his law enforcement career at OCPD, the city said Wednesday in announcing his departure. He was appointed chief in January 2021 after nine years as deputy chief.
