Hot-air balloons will rule the sky at upcoming annual Sandy festival
SANDY, Utah (ABC4) — Hot-air balloons will dazzle Sandy spectators for two days in August as the city hosts its free annual Hot-Air Balloon Festival and Glow Event. The festival will take place on Friday, Aug. 9, and Saturday, Aug. 10, at Storm Mountain Park, located at 1000 East 11400 South. The balloons will begin rising into the air at sunrise which will be at about 6:30 a.m. both days, as long as the weather continues to cooperate for a safe take-off.
