Car crash on Piedmont Road in Anderson, ‘traumatic injuries’ reported
POWDERSVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Powdersville Fire Department said Saturday they were alerted to a car crash on Piedmont Rd. at Pine Rd. The fire department said their Station 7 was alerted to a motor vehicle accident with injuries around 4:30 p.m. Both vehicles were off the road when the department arrived.

Woman’s death in Flagler Beach leads to man’s arrest in Georgia, police say
FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. – A person of interest has been arrested in Georgia following the suspicious death of a woman in Flagler Beach, according to police. The investigation began Thursday, the Flagler Beach Police Department said in a news release dated Saturday. The woman who died was identified as Sally J. Byrd, 66, who resided in the Pebble Beach Village community, the release states. Byrd’s cause of death had not yet been determined at the time of this report, police said.
