First Alert Weather: Chances of showers & storms into Sunday
WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Showers and a few storms are possible through Saturday evening, particularly north of Highway 29. A cold front will continue to drift south overnight into Sunday, with the focus of any showers or storms to end the weekend in the southern parts of the area. A First Alert for the next best risk of wet weather, including some storms on Tuesday. Although severe storms are not anticipated for Tuesday, any stronger storms could produce downpours, gusty winds, and small hail. Dry weather returns for the second half of the week, as temperatures climb well into the 80s by the start of next weekend.

Good News Project receives grant to continue renovations
WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - After 41 years of serving the community, a local non-profit is looking to improve its own building for a change. The Good News Project’s loading dock is located off Langsdorf and North Fifth Streets hasn’t been upgraded in two decades. Not only does it need cement replacement, but also additional gravel to get the trucks up to the dock.
Honey Rock camp near Eagle River helping keep communities clean
Eagle River, Wis. (WJFW) - Many residents help keep their community clean, but one local organization is contributing through classes at summer camp. HoneyRock, near Eagle River, is a summer camp that has been visiting local communities to assist with cleanup efforts. Mike Odberg, the Adventure Program Manager at HoneyRock, mentioned that HoneyRock is part of Wheaton College in Illinois and has been serving the Eagle River area since around 1951.
