A change worked out positively for Colin Tuft, and likely played a big role in the Madison High School graduate getting chosen in the recent Major League baseball draft. The catcher and Tulane University junior player recently was selected in the eighth round (249th pick overall) by the Baltimore Orioles.

According to a report, Reddick is making his stance clear to receive a new contract, so he isn’t reporting to camp due to their dispute. It wasn’t too long before the Jets made a move to trade for the star pass rusher from the Eagles, he has one last year on his contract but he’s eager to receive an extension. Reddick is digging heels in this situation and it doesn’t look like it’ll be a good one, it shouldn’t surprise anyone if he ends up on another roster.

Co-Defendant Pleads Guilty in Murder of 18-Year-Old Woman Found in Shallow Grave
A 23-year-old man pleaded guilty to first-degree murder on Thursday for the death of Rosa Sanchez Merino, whose remains were found in a shallow grave last September in Olney. According to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, “In the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, before the Honorable Theresa Chernosky, defendant, Roberto Rivera-Delgado, 23, of unknown address, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and participating in a criminal organization resulting in death. The plea hearing was held yesterday, July 25, 2024. Rivera-Delgado faces the potential of life in prison. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 13, 2025.

Councilman Marks to recommend downzoning 18 acres along Bird River
WHITE MARSH, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks on Thursday announced rezoning recommendations designed to reduce the impact of development on the Bird River. First, Councilman Marks will recommend classifying nearly 18 acres of land on the southern side of the Bird River near White Marsh Run to RC 20, removing an existing industrial zoning.
