Walla Walla Police investigating arson after shed fire on July 13
WALLA WALLA, Wash.-The Walla Walla Fire Department is investigating a shed fire on July 13 as arson. Firefighters from Walla Walla Fire Station 1 responded to a burning shed behind a home at 612 S. 12th Avenue around 4:27 a.m. and found a 12-by-20 foot shed burning, according to a WWFD press release.

Two drive-by shootings in Spokane in past week
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Police Department (SPD) responded to a drive-by shooting early Monday morning after a separate drive-by on Saturday. According to SPD, the first shooting took place at around 6:30 a.m. on North Wall Street and West Francis Avenue. Several shots were fired at a home on North Wall, which SPD believes was a targeted attack. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.

Hit-and-run leaves pedestrian seriously injured along Highway 17
BRIDGEPORT — The Washington State Patrol says it’s investigating a hit-and-run collision in rural Okanogan County that left a pedestrian injured. Arthur M. Binford, 59, of Spokane Valley was walking on the shoulder of Highway 17 near Bridgeport early Sunday when an unknown vehicle struck him and continued on. The accident was reported about 3:45 a.m.
