Bismarck man sentenced after head-on crash into trooper’s vehicle
(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man has been sentenced two years in prison followed by three years of probation for hitting a Highway Patrol cruiser head-on. The crash happened in March when Steven Kessel was driving the wrong way on Highway 83 in Bismarck. No one was seriously hurt in the crash.
Bismarck Man Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges
(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man has pleaded guilty to multiple drug charges after police reportedly seized more than 260 pounds of drugs from him. Investigators say Chane Britton had and intended to sell more than 50 pounds of marijuana, 180 pounds of THC extract, and 30 pounds of hallucinogenic mushrooms. He was also reportedly found with several firearms, a silencer, and a U.S. Marshal ballistic shield. Police say he stole the shield after it was accidentally left behind at the home of someone he knows.
Pilot program aims to spur workforce housing in rural North Dakota

NDSCS to offer aircraft maintenance
The North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton will soon be offering an aircraft maintenance program. College President Dr. Rod Flanigan said NDSCS received a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration for that program — and the College is now in the process of putting the program together.
