New-Look City Council Debates Potential Land Purchase
A fresh look City Council took the dais Monday evening, the first of July, with three new members being sworn in. Outgoing City Councilmembers Stephan Podrygula, Scott Burlingame, and Carrie Evans were replaced with the newly elected members Mike Blessum, Rob Fuller, and Scott Samuelson in a special session taking place immediately before the regular session. This included Mark Jantzer being elected as President and Lisa Olson elected Vice President of the city council.

FARGO – A Fargo man arrested for the shooting death of another man at the Arbor Apartments last week has made his first court appearance. A judge set bond at $50,000 dollars for 20-year-old Amire Logan. If he posts that or pays $5,000 he can be released from jail.
Pickup total loss after it catches fire on I-94 in Fargo
FARGO (KFGO) – A pickup truck is a total loss after it caught fire on eastbound I-94 just west of the Red River Wednesday afternoon. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the driver of the pickup noticed smoke coming from it around 1:30 p.m. The driver pulled over, and he and his passenger got out and saw the truck was on fire.
