Police: Swimmer drowns in private Norfolk lake Sunday night
NORFOLK, Neb. — A swimmer drowned in a private lake in Norfolk over the weekend, the police department said in a release Monday. Investigators said fire and rescue and Norfolk Police responded to a report of a missing swimmer off S. 13th Street in Norfolk shortly before 6 p.m. Three witnesses told authorities the man was swimming, went under the water and did not resurface.
Man accused of waving shotgun outside of People’s City Mission
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A man was arrested after waving a shotgun around the outside of People’s City Mission Help Center Friday afternoon, Lincoln Police said. Officers responded to the center around 4 p.m. after a caller reported that 38-year-old Joshua Johnson was waving a shotgun around while standing on top of a car.
