Columbus Junior Reds Are 2-1, Still Alive in State Tourney
The Columbus Owens Wealth Advisors Junior Reds are 2-1 and still alive in their reserves league state tournament in Elkhorn. On Friday, the Junior Reds opened with a 2-1 win over the Millard Sox Reserve Black. Columbus scored six runs in the top of the first inning on Saturday en route to a 7-2 victory over Standing Bear.
Nebraska adds Jamar Mozee as Senior Football Assistant
Nebraska football and head coach Matt Rhule made another addition to the coaching staff. Jamar Mozee joins the Huskers as a Senior Football Assistant. Mozee joins the Cornhuskers after spending the last nine seasons as the head coach of Lee’s Summit North High School. He left the program in February for an analyst role with Central Florida. While at Lee’s Summit North, he had an overall record of 64-35 but has gone 33-5 in the last three seasons. His son, Isaiah Mozee, is a four-star recruit in the class of 2025. The younger Mozee committed to Oregon in April but visited the Lincoln campus several times before announcing his decision. Blessed with an amazing opportunity.
