JACKSON CENTER — Buckeye Pizza of JC had a soft opening over the weekend. The family-owned establishment is located at the former Heidout Bar in Jackson Center. Dayton-area manufacturing firm to lay off over 60 employees
DAYTON, Ohio (Dayton Business Journal) -- A Michigan-based firm manufacturer will lay off numerous employees at its Dayton location within the next few months. idX Corp. - known for manufacturing retail displays and store fixtures - is implementing a substantial reduction in workforce at its facility located at 2875 Needmore Road. The firm disclosed the layoff plans in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) notice, saying 62 associates would lose their jobs - most in mid-September.
