Blue Ridge Artisan Days event planned for June 15

Blue Ridge Artisan Days-Crafting Summertime Memories will be held on June 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Appalachian Fairgrounds, 100 Lakeview St., Gray.

The event is free to the public and features over 100 local artisans and small businesses. Guests will find woodworking, crochet, painting, sweet treats, leather work, jewelry and a whole lot more including food trucks. This is the perfect time to get shopping done for upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and Father’s Day.

Blue Ridge Artisan Days supports a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing Artisan Style crafts to the children and youth in the community. At the Young Artisan Club youth get support and the opportunity to explore their creative side and see where it can take them. For this event the children will work with leather to create a bookmark or keychain.
