    Elizabethton Police seek public’s help in identifying catalytic converter theft suspect

    The Elizabethton Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a male suspect involved in the theft of a catalytic converter. The theft occurred on August 19 at 3:30 a.m. from a vehicle parked at Bennett’s Moving Services on West Elk Avenue.

    Authorities urge anyone with information related to this incident to come forward. Individuals with relevant information can contact Investigator David Peters at the Elizabethton Police Department by emailing dpeters@elizabethtonpolice.org or calling 423-547-6225.

    Those who prefer to submit an anonymous tip can do so online at Tip411 or by sending a text message with “TIPEPD” followed by the tip to 847411.
