Greeneville man arrested on aggravated assault, protection order violation charges

JOHNSON CITY — On Oct. 2, officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Zebedee Gross, 23, of Greeneville, and charged him with aggravated assault and violation of an order of protection.

At approximately 3:15 a.m., officers responded to a parking lot on Marketplace Boulevard after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance. Gross was still at the scene when officers arrived. According to police, he had hit the victim multiple times and grabbed her around the neck. The victim had an active order of protection against Gross.

Gross was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he awaits further legal proceedings.
