Senior Center Schedule

Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center, 428 East G Street, for the week of Monday, June 24 – Friday, June 28:

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 noon.

The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments are necessary.

Monday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Medicare 101 Educational Seminar, Instructor Bill Kyte, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Country Fried Steak, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday: Boys & Girls Club Reading Program, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Grilled Chicken Breast, 11 a.m.; Line Dancing – Instructor Sharon Pilk, 12 p.m., $3.

Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Qigong with Adina, $3, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Egg Patty/Sausage Patty, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3, 1:30 p.m.

Thursday: Lunch – Sliced Ham, 11 a.m.; Fundraising Committee Meeting – Donuts & Coffee, 12:30 p.m.

Friday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Birthday Bingo, Special Host: Oasis Senior Advisors – Sponsored by Women’s Civics Club, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Breaded Chicken Patty, 11 a.m.

Wanting to volunteer in the community? Call 543-4255 and ask about becoming a driver for home delivered meals!

REMINDER: Street signs with reflective numbers are still available at the Center for a cost of $5. These are provided at this discount price through our SALT Council.
