Senior Center Schedule

Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center, 428 East G Street, for the week of Monday, July 8 – Friday, July 12:

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 noon.

The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments are necessary.

Monday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Chicken Philly with Peppers, Onions & Cheese, 11 a.m.; Massages with Yoga Farm – Must sign up in advance, 12 p.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3.

Tuesday: Stay Strong – Stay Healthy – 8-week program, 2x per week – UT Extension, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Spaghetti & Meat Sauce, 11 a.m.; Line Dancing – Instructor Sharon Pilk, 12 p.m., $3.

Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ – Cardio – Toning – Strength Building – Group Led, 9 a.m.; Basic Drug Prevention Awareness Workshop – Drug Task Force, 10 a.m.; Lunch – Egg Patty, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Shirley Gomillian, $3, 12:15 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga – Yoga Farm Instructor Cindy Brugnoletti, $3.

Thursday: Stay Strong – Stay Healthy – 8-week program, 2x per week – UT Extension, 9 a.m.; Lunch – Tuna Salad, 11 a.m.; Vet – 2 – Vet Cafe – All veterans welcome in community – Sponsored by Caris, 1 p.m.

Friday: Dogs for a Cause – Fundraiser benefiting the Elizabethton Senior Center. Events start at 11 a.m. at the Elizabethton Senior Center. Tickets are $10 or you can pay at the door. There will be hotdogs with all the fixins’, door prizes, and live music featuring Julie Williams and Willie Melton! All proceeds directly benefit the Senior Center.

Wanting to volunteer in the community? Call 543-4255 and ask about becoming a driver for home delivered meals!

REMINDER: Street signs with reflective numbers are still available at the Center for a cost of $5. These are provided at this discount price through our SALT Council.
