Elizabethton City Schools to host annual Back-2-School Bash

The annual Elizabethton City Schools Back-2-School Bash will take place on July 29 at Elizabethton High School from 6 to 8 p.m. This event is designed to provide students with the necessary school supplies and access to various community resources to ensure they are well-prepared for the upcoming school year.

Community organizations will be set up in the gym for the resource fair, providing essential health and educational resources for families. Each student attending the event will receive a tote bag and have the opportunity to pick up school supplies at a designated area. In addition to these supplies, students will have access to a wealth of health, education, and extracurricular resources to support their overall well-being and academic success.

The Back-2-School Bash will also feature a variety of fun and engaging activities, including dinner, inflatables, free haircuts, an obstacle course, and a resource fair provided by local community agencies. The entire event, along with all activities, is free of charge.

Several Gold and Platinum sponsors have partnered to help organize this event, including the Elizabethton Police Department, Elizabethton Parks & Rec, Carter County Health Department, TN Army National Guard, East River Park, Snap-On, Calvary Baptist Church, Wellpoint, Little Caesars, and the 2024 Title Sponsor, Eastman Credit Union. This event would not be possible without the generous support of all our community donors. We are incredibly grateful for their contributions, which help us provide the necessary school supplies for students.
