Dr. Gary Gibbons, 90

Elk River - Dr. Gary Bernal Gibbons passed away peacefully at Guardian Angels Care Facility in Elk River on February 25, 2024. He was married to Glenna Jackson Wefald in 1995. They enjoyed 29 wonderful years together. He is survived by his loving wife, Glenna Gibbons of Otsego; his children, Michael (Leslie) Gibbons of Chaska, Patrick (Kimberly) Gibbons of Lakeville, Theresa Gibbons of Lake Worth, FL; step-children Joanne (John) Jacobson of Ramsey, Michael Wefald of Chanhassen, Paul Wefald (Julie Gordan) of New Castle, CO.; grandchildren, Jason Gibbons, Dallas Gibbons, Jack Gibbons, Jett Gibbons and Daniella Gibbons; grandchildren, Daniel (Camille) Jacobson and Kari Jacobson (Antoine Gilbert); great-grandchildren, Abram Gilbert, Araya Gilbert, Caleb Jacobson and Harper Jacobson. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Elk River Lutheran Church, 729 Main St. NW, Elk River, MN with visitation at 10:00 am.
