Spectrum High School's 'Freaky Friday' opens on Friday

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to switch places with someone? Maybe for just one day? The desire for such a switch may be wanting to experience something from a different perspective. Or even reexperiencing something that you loved. Or becoming a kid again. Or vice versa: a kid wanting to be an adult for a change. Such a thing would require something magical… maybe even a magic hourglass.

Come to Spectrum High School Theatre’s production of Disney’s Freaky Friday and see just what that might look like. Led by sophomore Isabella Schluender as Katherine and sophomore Lyla Glinsek as Ellie, this mother-daughter story will touch your hearts as they walk in each other’s shoes, deal with a shift in schedules and routines, and rediscover the special bond they share. With all the twists and turns, things to be found, and elimination of fear and worry, you’re in for a night to remember.

Performances are on Friday, March 15 at 7:00 pm, Saturday March 16 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and Sunday March 17 at 2:00 pm with a special recognition of our graduating seniors following the performance.
