Infrastructure projects moving ahead in Parkersburg
A couple of project updates from Parkersburg. First, the water tower rehabilitation project will start sometime in August. John Deere cuts 67 workers from its Johnston finance operation
Deere & Co. cuts this week in Iowa climbed to 170 workers in Johnston, Dubuque and Waterloo, after the Illinois manufacturer of iconic tractors and combines announced it's trimming its salaried workforce. The Moline ag giant notified Iowa Workforce Development Thursday it's cutting 67 employees at John Deere Financial in Johnston.
