Entertainment critic Derek Sante checks out Twisters, Those About to Die & The Mole
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Blowing its way into theaters comes a remake of sorts with Twisters. Starring Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones, we follow a story very close to the original Twister film that starred Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. This time around, though, we follow a woman who has lost a lot and a man who wrangles tornados for digital views. And while this film's story isn't really new, the movie is still a fun ride with a lot of personality. Grade B from me.

Junkyard Gem: 2014 Nissan Leaf
After writing about nearly 3,000 discarded vehicles during the past 17 years, I've learned that it takes just over a decade for a new type of car to begin showing up in the big self-service boneyards (not counting unrecognizably crashed and/or burned ones). The first mass-produced battery-electric vehicles of the modern era hit American streets during the early 2010s, which means used-up examples can now be found in Ewe Pullet-type car graveyards. Here's one currently residing in Carson City, Nevada.
