SC FBI branch & local non-profit recognizes global day against trafficking
CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — The South Carolina branch of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recognized on Tuesday the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. According to officials, the FBI investigates over 1,000 cases of human trafficking each year. Human trafficking is defined as the illegal exploitation of a person for labor or services.
