Early morning police chase leads to car crash and 2 arrests in Delhi Township
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A police chase through Ingham County early Wednesday led to a car crash on Cedar Street in Delhi Township. On July 17 at 3:30 a.m., Ingham County Sheriff’s Office officials were called on a vehicle chase entering the county. Deputies said the Bath Township Police Department was chasing a Dodge Challenger on southbound US-127 near Trowbridge Road. Braves runner-up at Zwingle Tournament
On Saturday July 13, the Bellevue Braves faced Epworth in the Zwingle Baseball Tournament and came away with a 3-2 victory. The Braves took the early lead when in the first Andrew Swartz singled, and Ethan Hefel proceeded to drive him in with a triple. In the third Hefel was hit by a pitch, then scored on a Chet Knake double. The next batter up was Cole Swartz who drove in Knake with a single. That was all Braves' right-hander Jordan Nelson would need as he scattered four hits while fanning seven. Mitch Roeder took the loss for Epworth.
