DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Michael Peppers, recognized by many in the Quad Cities as Santa during the holiday season, died Monday. During his lifetime, 81-year-old Peppers was a Vietnam War veteran and an avid car collector and restorer. Even though the new "Twisters" isn't filmed in Iowa, Iowans can help victims of natural disasters by going to see the movie at Flix Brewhouse. Flix Brewhouse will donate funds from every ticket purchased to support disaster relief efforts by the American Red Cross. Proceeds from the Storm Chaser Burger Special, which is a beef burger with Havarti cheese, bacon jam, sundried tomatoes, baby arugula and seasoned tater twisters, will also be donated to the cause.
