Power Outages Persist Across Mid-Michigan After Tuesday’s Storms
Some homes and businesses across mid-Michigan remain without power after Tuesday’s thunderstorms. Areas of Bay, Midland, and Arenac Counties are some of the hardest hit. According to Comsumers Energy, power has been restored to more than 75 percent of customers, with the final push taking place today. More than 500 crews from Michigan and nine other states are working to get the lights back on around the region. As of 6:00 Thursday morning, Consumers estimated that roughly 42,000 homes and businesses were still affected.
