Princeton man charged with murder in crash that killed 15-month-old
The Princeton Police Department has arrested and charged the motorcyclist involved in a crash that killed a 15-month-old child on July 5. According to a news release, 47-year-old Joseph Traylor of Princeton has been arrested and charged with murder and reckless driving. Investigation into the single-vehicle motorcycle crash in the 300 block of Beverly Lane revealed that Traylor was operating a motorcycle with the child strapped to his chest.

A big storm moved across central Illinois on Monday night, bringing broad and severe destruction. The 70 mph wind gusts produced the storm resulted in major harm to trees, electricity lines, and houses. On Tuesday morning, residents found tree limbs strewn about their yards and streets.
