Wichita school adopts cell phone-free policy
WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita Trinity Academy has issued "Yondr bags" to students to prevent them from accessing their phones, earbuds or smartwatches during school hours. Trinity said students in grades 8-12 must place their cell phones, smartwatches and ear buds in these bags at the beginning of the day. The bag will lock and prevent the student from accessing their devices during school hours. At the end of the day, students will touch their bag to a base which will open the bag.
