Former Port of Seattle police chief awarded $24.2M in damages over wrongful firing
(The Center Square) – A King County Superior Court jury has awarded former Port of Seattle Police Chief Rod Covey $24.2 million in damages, but the port is considering an appeal. East Wenatchee Police Department is hosting National Night out on Wednesday, July 31st and nearly every local 1st responder agency in the area is participating. National Night Out is a free community gathering organized for families to meet local officers and first responders in a fun setting. Everson man arrested for selling stolen tools on Facebook Marketplace while allegedly using false account
EVERSON, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – An Everson man was arrested after allegedly hacking someone’s Facebook account to sell stolen tools. Court documents state that a farmer in Lynden reported several of his tools were stolen from his property in March.
