Russell Okung recalls ‘rarely used’ play that led to Marshawn Lynch’s ‘Beastquake’
There have been bigger wins and more important moments in Seattle Seahawks franchise history, but perhaps no play will endure as one of the all-time great NFL highlights than Marshawn Lynch’s 67-yard touchdown against the New Orleans Saints in the 2010 Wild Card Round. Lynch seemingly ran through the...
Black Belt Eagle Scout cancels shows due to medical issues; GoFundMe launched
Black Belt Eagle Scout has cancelled her upcoming shows due to some “pretty scary health issues” she’s been experiencing. “Earlier this year, I started experiencing some weird symptoms that I thought were from pinched nerves in my neck and spine,” she writes. “After many doctors visits and medical tests, and having to advocate so hard for myself within the medical system, via MRIs, I’ve finally been able to get some answers. I am now working with a top neurologist in Seattle who suspects I have relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). I am still undergoing more testing and have been having a hard time with my energy, mobility and other nerve symptoms.”

The 30-year-old first baseman enjoyed a breakout season in 2021 and continued it with an All-Star campaign in 2022. Since then, France has really struggled to capture that same level of play. In 88 games in 2024, France was slashing .223/.312/.350 with just eight home runs.
