Economy Airline to Pull All Flights from Minnesota
Minnesota will soon have one less airline providing service to travelers, as one economy airline has made the decision to pull out of the state. Minnesota currently has over a dozen airlines that serve the state, including Delta, United, American, and low-cost carriers like Sun Country, Allegiant, and JetBlue, also service the state, but one of those will no longer fly into or out of Minnesota.
At Least One St. Cloud Area School Will Offer Boys Volleyball in 2025
The Minnesota State High School League approved boys volleyball as a high school sport last year. The first season of boys high school volleyball as a full fledged sport in Minnesota will be during the 2024-2025 school year. The season will be offered in the spring of 2025. Cathedral Activities Director Emmett Keenan is a former MSHSL board member and active participant within the league. He says the largest interest in the state in the sport is in the Twin Cities metro where enrollments are larger and the following appears greater.
Sartell man, 38, killed in Waite Park construction accident
WAITE PARK, Minn. — Police in central Minnesota say a man died after part of a crane fell on him Tuesday morning at a construction site.The Waite Park Police Department says the incident happened on the 400 block of Seventh Avenue North shortly before 11 a.m.A large section of a crane was being assembled when it fell from an elevated workstation, pinning a man underneath it, police say. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as 38-year-old Dylan Barthel, of Sartell, and said his cause of death had been multiple blunt force injuries.

One Injured Following Head-On Collision in Ottertail
Ottertail, MN – At around 6:49 Thursday morning (July 25th), the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision in the City of Ottertail. According to officials, a Subaru Outback was heading south on Highway 78 and a Chevy sedan was heading north, when the two collided near County Road 1.
