Bradford County under a flash flood warning Wednesday evening
On Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. a flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 7:15 p.m. for Bradford County. "At 4:15 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," explains the weather service. "Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas."
Ithaca man arrested on weapons charges
ITHACA, N.Y. (WETM) — An Ithaca man is facing multiple charges after police say they found a rifle, a bulletproof vest, and ammo in his home. Jerimiah C. Greenidge, 25, was arrested on July 16 after an investigation into recent shootings and weapons violations in Ithaca. According to the Ithaca Police Department, officers searched Greenridge’s apartment at the Arthaus, located at 130 Cherry St., on a warrant.
