Another day of clouds and rain

A low pressure system will move slowly by, just to our north through the day on Wednesday. There is an unstable air mass in place over the region, which will allow several pop-up showers and thunderstorms to develop again. These are slow moving storms, that will trudge east bringing in the potential for some localized flooding in a few usual suspect spots.

Then a temporary high comes in for the first day of August in two days. However, it is quickly booted out of the way to make way for another low ejecting from the west. This will again increase our rain and thunderstorm chances. After that an actual area of high pressure comes on in and dries us out to start next week. That sun sticks around for several days, with only a small chance of a thunderstorm or shower in the afternoon hours.

Tonight look for overnight showers with a low in the mid-60s and then not much in the way of sunshine for the day tomorrow. A Wednesday high in the mid-80s across the Tiers.
