Outdoor Music Concert
The Summer Celebration Outdoor Music Concert with the Miracles will be held on Tuesday, July 23 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Mancelona’s Triangle Park. There is no charge and bring a lawn chair. Grayling Baptist Church fundraising for Christmas Blessings
Grayling Baptist Church will be hosting a booth at the AuSable River Festival Kid’s Day July 23. The church will also be selling popcorn, snow cones and cotton candy in downtown Grayling July 26-27 during the AuSable River Canoe Marathon. Proceeds from the sales will benefit the church’s annual Christmas Blessings event in December.

Guy Eldon Molby was Born in Detroit, MI on Sept. 22, 1936. His boyhood home was in Dearborn, MI. The family moved to Thayer Lake in Alden, MI in 1946. He graduated from Bellaire High School in 1954. Guy went on to college at Sault Saint Marie and Houghton to study Electrical Engineering. He then worked for General Telephone Electric as an engineer designing and installing utility lines.

FLAT ROCK — Seven Michigan communities have been awarded funding from the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). Grants totaling $250,000 will benefit local preservation and community planning goals in Charlevoix, Coldwater, Detroit, Flat Rock, Holland, Livonia and Washtenaw County.
