Brenda Carr, 73, of Grayling
Brenda Louise Carr, 73 of Grayling, passed away on June 29, 2024 at home with her family. Brenda was born in Wyandotte, MI to the late Marshall and Sarah “Sally” (Folgado) Granger on April 12, 1951. She was the second of seven children and very close to her siblings. She moved up to Grayling in the late 70’s where she met the love of her life Allen “Chauncey” Carr and together they raised three daughters. Brenda truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; working on puzzles, shopping, online slot games, chatting with friends, listening to music (subjecting her family to Roger Whittaker cause he was “The Man”), playing cards and mostly spending time with her family whether it be at family gatherings or an all night “Granger Girls” coffee and card party.

Darlene Erma Laubrich, 94, of Petoskey, Michigan passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Bay Bluffs nursing home in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Darlene was born on January 3, 1930, in Petoskey, Michigan to Samuel and Lucy (Crump) Sommer. She grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from East Grand Rapids High School. On October 5, 1949, in Grand Rapids, MI she married the love of her life, Charles Laubrich.
