The Third Squad reports the arrest of a New Jersey man for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. in North New Hyde Park. According to Detectives, a female victim, 74, stated she was approached at her residence located on North 4th Street by an unknown male advising the victim that her roof needed repairs. The subject represented himself as a roof contractor and instructed the victim on multiple occasions to withdraw money from her bank account.
