New renderings have been revealed for The Delecor, a 31-story residential tower at 250 East 83rd Street in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by The Torkian Group, the 370-foot-tall structure will span 215,608 square feet and yield 128 rental units in one- to four-bedroom layouts, as well as a collection of penthouses and ground-floor retail space. The ground-up property is located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 83rd Street.

A citizen of Montenegro nicknamed the "Pirate of the Unknown" has been extradited to New York City from Italy to face charges connected to what U.S. authorities called an international drug ring that transported tons of cocaine around the world. New Black studies curriculum to launch in NYC schools this fall
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A new Black studies curriculum for students in pre-K through 12th grade will launch in New York City public schools in the fall. The Black Education Research Center (BERC) at Teachers College at Columbia University recently launched “Black Studies as the Study of the World: A PK-12 Black Studies Curriculum for New York City Public Schools.” It was created in collaboration with the New York City Department of Education (DOE), the City Council and the Education Equity Action Plan (EEAP) initiative, a group comprising educators, non-profits and government leaders.

To celebrate Christmas in July, Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. has announced that the Radio City Christmas Spectacular will return for the season on November 8th, 2024, running through January 5th, 2025. The show has been dazzling audiences since 1933 and is a true staple of the holiday season in NYC. The show will feature all the classics, such as Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, along with newer numbers including Dance of the Frost Fairies which was first performed in 2022 along with fairy-drones magically flying throughout the Music Hall.
