A Vincennes woman was returned to Knox County from Lawrence County Illinois to face a warrant for attempted murder. 23 year-old Madalyn Dennis is accused of the crime in relation to a shooting earlier this week at Autumn Ridge Apartments. Authorities claim the un-named victim was shot in the head in his car, but drove himself to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. Witnesses say a second car drove away from the scene.
