    Missing Elsa woman believed to be in Mexico, police say

    ELSA, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — The Elsa Police Department is searching for a missing woman.

    Rosa Alba Cepeda, 79, was last seen on the evening of June 19 at her home. Police say Cepeda is diagnosed with dementia and has health problems.

    Cepeda is described as 5’4” tall, weighs 135 lbs, has white hair and wears glasses. Police said she may have crossed to Mexico, accompanied by Baldomero Cepeda.

    The vehicle they may be traveling in is described as a 2005 Dodge Stratus, with Tamaulipas license plates XKM770A.

    Anyone with information on Cepeda’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Elsa Police Department at (956) 262-4721.
