Battle baseball travels to Cooperstown for tournament at Dreams Park
The Battle 12U baseball squad made up of players from Carbon and Emery counties traveled to Cooperstown New York, home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame to compete in a tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park, a sprawling complex with 22 fields. Eighty-six teams from across the country converged for a great week of baseball and Battle ended their run with a 5-2 record losing their final game to the eventual champions the HCYP Raiders Blue squad from Maryland.

The camp was held on June 11-12 and 18-19, beginning in Price at the USUE Baseball field from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. After a short break, the camp was at it again from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., held in Castle Dale at the Emery High School Armory.
